Silent Hill Fan Soundtrack - Every legend has a beginning, and this is our story. The Silent Hill Fan Soundtrack over the years has often been overlooked and never really spoken about amongst our community. It started as a wild idea, and as you can see, turned into something much bigger than anybody I'm sure ever expected. It may not be the most beloved album in our collection, but we can't ignore our roots and now you have the chance to hear Broken Notes from the beginning of it all. When people think of Broken Notes, they think of this album. At the time of release, our group was not actually referred to as Broken Notes, so we were a nameless group of artists at the time. Now that we've established a name, this album is our self-titled album Broken Notes. It is the follow up to the much less known Silent Hill Fan Soundtrack. This is the album that put us on the page with the Silent Hill community, an album Akira Yamaoka himself is aware of, and is talked about at times by people in the video-gaming world. Featured in a Russian magazine, advertised by many Silent Hill sites to this very day, and is considered our best work by our fans. Whether we agree it is our best work is a different story. Also making their debut appearance on a Broken Notes album are Christopher So, Christophe Frutuoso, Derrick Koo, and Sunburst. This one set out to be better than Broken Notes, and was and still is met with fanfare. Featuring forty seven tracks that run over one-hundred and forty minutes of music goodness.
